Kerry and Garrett’s November wedding at The IV Loft at Four Fathers Brewing in Cambridge, Ontario was the kind of day that reminds me why I love photographing weddings so much. From the moment I arrived, the energy felt relaxed and welcoming — the kind of celebration where everyone is simply happy to be there.


Late November weddings in Ontario have such a unique atmosphere. By this point in the season the colourful fall leaves have mostly disappeared, leaving behind a quieter, moodier landscape that feels incredibly cozy. Inside the loft, warm lighting, candlelight, and beautiful florals created the perfect contrast to the crisp late-fall air outside.


From start to finish, the entire day felt effortless and joyful, truly like spending time with friends celebrating something meaningful.


Getting Ready at Four Fathers Brewing


Before the ceremony began, Garrett and the groomsmen spent the morning hanging out in one of the side rooms connected to the restaurant area at Four Fathers Brewing. The space had a really cool atmosphere, a glass-panelled room where you could see into the restaurant while still having a relaxed place for the guys to get ready.


The restaurant itself is full of character, with warm wood tones and countless hanging lights overhead that create an inviting glow throughout the space. It made for such a great setting to photograph the guys getting ready, with the reflections from the glass panels and the soft lighting adding a lot of depth to the photos.

These quieter moments before the ceremony are always some of my favourites to capture, everyone just enjoying the excitement of the day before everything officially begins.


Kerry & Garrett’s Wedding Day

Kerry and Garrett kept their entire wedding day at The IV Loft, which made everything flow seamlessly from ceremony to reception. Having everything in one location helped create a relaxed pace for the day and allowed guests to fully enjoy the celebration without rushing between venues.


Kerry looked stunning in her off-the-shoulder gown paired with a soft veil that caught the warm glow of the string lights throughout the loft. Garrett kept things classic and relaxed, perfectly matching the easygoing energy that defined the entire day.


One of the most memorable details of their wedding was that Kerry baked her own wedding cake. As an incredible baker, creating the cake herself was such a meaningful personal touch and something guests absolutely loved.


Kerry and Garrett also share a love for building LEGO creations together, including things like bouquets made entirely out of LEGO pieces. Little details like that say so much about who they are as a couple: creative, playful, and genuinely fun to be around.


The whole day truly felt like a celebration among close friends and family.

The IV Loft at Four Fathers Brewing is one of Cambridge’s most unique wedding venues. Located above the brewery, the loft offers a beautiful industrial space filled with natural light during the day and warm ambient lighting in the evening.

The venue features exposed brick, neutral walls, and stunning string lights across the ceiling, creating a modern yet romantic atmosphere that works beautifully for weddings. The layout also allows the space to transition easily from ceremony to reception, which helps keep the day flowing naturally for couples and their guests.

For Kerry and Garrett’s late-fall wedding, the cozy glow from the lighting and candles made the loft feel warm and inviting — the perfect setting for a November celebration.


Wedding Photos Around Cambridge Ontario

One of the best things about photographing weddings at The IV Loft at Four Fathers Brewing is the variety of nearby photo locations.


For Kerry and Garrett’s portraits, we explored several spots around the property. There’s a nearby bridge and river that provide beautiful natural backdrops, and the brewery’s back property — where they play disc golf — offers open space and relaxed scenery that works wonderfully for wedding portraits.


Having these locations so close to the venue allows couples to capture a mix of natural and urban backdrops without needing to travel far, which helps keep the timeline smooth and stress-free.


Reception Details

The reception decor was absolutely flawless. Warm toned florals, candlelight, and elegant table settings created a cozy atmosphere that perfectly suited a late-fall wedding.


As the evening unfolded and the room filled with laughter, conversation, and celebration, the loft felt warm, inviting, and full of life. The combination of beautiful design, thoughtful details, and incredible people made this reception unforgettable.
